By following the basic belief that all illness and pain stem from a disharmony of Chi (vital energy), Jaime incorporates in his practice several methods to harmonize this energy including but not limited to acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbal medicine, microcurrent, Chi-moving exercises, Aroma Acupoint, and diet recommendations.

Jaime has been in private practice since 2005, in the Auburn/Grass Valley area, Eugene, OR, Santa Cruz county, and most recently in Roseville. He is the owner of Kalya; a company offering onsite acupuncture for corporations in northern and central California, and the founder of Holistica; a non-profit organization providing affordable holistic medicine - including acupuncture - to those that cannot afford it.
